Specialized Diverge E5 – Shimano CUES 2x10 Alloy Gravel Bike

The Ultimate Getaway Vehicle.

Whether you're escaping down gravel backroads, lining up for your first gravel race, or building the most versatile drop-bar bike in your garage, the Specialized Diverge E5 is built to do it all.

This is not just an entry-level gravel bike. With Shimano CUES 2x10, a full carbon fork, and class-leading tire clearance, the Diverge E5 delivers real performance on pavement, hardpack, and rough country roads.

Fast when you want it. Stable when you need it.

Built on Premium E5 Alloy

The Diverge E5 uses Specialized’s Premium E5 aluminum frame paired with a full carbon FACT fork. The result is a lightweight, stiff, and responsive platform that smooths out chatter while staying efficient under power.

  • Threaded BSA bottom bracket (easy serviceability)
  • Internal cable routing
  • 12x142mm rear thru-axle
  • Flat-mount disc brakes

This is a durable, long-haul frame you can grow with.

Shimano CUES 2x10 Drivetrain

This build features Shimano CUES 2x10 — a major step up in durability and range.

  • Shimano CUES FC-U6030 crankset (46/32T)
  • Shimano CUES 11–39T 10-speed cassette
  • Shimano CUES front and rear derailleurs
  • Shimano CUES ST-U6030 shifters

The wide gear range handles steep climbs, long gravel grinds, and fast road sections with ease. CUES is designed for longevity and smooth shifting under load — perfect for mixed terrain riding.

Progressive Gravel Geometry

Specialized rethought gravel geometry from the ground up.

  • Longer reach for stability
  • Slacker head tube angle for confidence in the dirt
  • Longer fork offset for planted handling
  • Low bottom bracket for stability
  • Compatible with 650b if you want to go wider

The bike feels planted and controlled off-road, yet responsive and lively on pavement.

Massive Tire Clearance

Nothing unlocks capability like tire clearance.

  • 700c: up to 47mm
  • 650b: up to 2.1”

Stocked with Pathfinder 700x40c tires — fast rolling on pavement, confident on hardpack.

Adventure Ready Mounting

The Diverge E5 includes:

  • Fork mounts
  • Top tube mounts
  • Rack compatibility

Load it for commuting. Set it up for bikepacking. Or keep it stripped down and fast.

Wheelset & Finishing Kit

  • AXIS Sport Disc wheels
  • Pathfinder 700x40c tires
  • Specialized shallow drop bars
  • Body Geometry Bridge saddle
  • Supacaz Suave bar tape
