How Service Works

1. Drop-Off (Walk-In)
Bring your bike in during shop hours. We’ll do a quick look-over and give you a general estimate range.

2. Bench Inspection
Once your bike is on the stand, we’ll text you a more precise estimate before ordering parts or beginning larger work.

3. Approval by Text
Reply “OK” to approve. We don’t move forward without your go-ahead.

4. Updates if Needed
If teardown reveals hidden wear (bearings, cables, internal parts), we’ll text photos and an updated estimate before proceeding.

5. Pickup
We text when it’s ready. You roll out dialed.

No surprises. No mystery charges. Just clear communication.

Turnaround Time

We’re a hands-on, detail-focused shop — every bike is properly inspected and thoughtfully serviced.

Turnaround varies by season and parts availability. We’ll give you an honest ETA at check-in and keep you updated by text. Rush work is sometimes possible — just ask at drop-off.

Spring tip: If the weather just turned beautiful, you’re not the only one thinking about riding. Beat the rush.

Service FAQ's

Do you take appointments?

We operate on a first come, first served check-in system during shop hours at our Taylor, TX location.

Walk in anytime — we’ll get your bike in the queue and provide a clear timeline.

Riders regularly visit us from Taylor, Hutto, Elgin, Georgetown, Bastrop, and across Central Texas.

Can you quote me over the phone?

We don’t diagnose or quote by phone — bikes require hands-on inspection.

Bring your bike in and we’ll do a quick counter look, then send a detailed estimate by text once it’s on the stand. This keeps pricing accurate and prevents surprises.

How do estimates and approvals work?

• General estimate at check-in
• Detailed text estimate after bench inspection
• You reply “OK” to approve

If hidden wear is discovered during teardown, we’ll text updated findings and pricing before proceeding.

You’re always in control of the final decision.

Not sure if your bike needs service?

If your bike is:

• Shifting slower than usual
• Making new noises
• Braking inconsistently
• Feeling rough, creaky, or “off”
• Or hasn’t been checked in over a year

It’s worth bringing it in.

Small issues are usually quick and affordable to fix. Waiting often makes them bigger.

What’s the difference between a Basic and Deluxe Tune?

The Basic Tune focuses on safety and core adjustments.

The Deluxe Tune includes deeper cleaning, alignment checks, system inspections, and precision setup that address performance and wear.

Most bikes that haven’t been serviced recently receive the Deluxe — but we inspect every bike and recommend the right level of service.

How long is turnaround?

Turnaround varies depending on season and parts availability.

We’ll provide an honest ETA at check-in and update you by text if anything changes.

In Central Texas, service demand increases quickly when the weather turns beautiful — bringing your bike in early helps avoid weekend bottlenecks.

Do you service e-bikes?

Yes.

E-bikes require additional diagnostic time and care, which is why we apply a service surcharge. Please bring the key and charger at check-in.

Do you work on older bikes?

Absolutely.

We love keeping older bikes rolling. Whether it’s a well-loved commuter or a 90s mountain bike revival, we’re happy to assess it and recommend the best path forward.

Do you work on bikes that weren’t purchased here?

Yes.

We service bikes purchased anywhere — big box stores, online brands, older models, custom builds, and vintage bikes.

If parts are discontinued or difficult to source, we’ll discuss realistic options before moving forward.

What should I bring?

Just your bike.

For e-bikes, bring:
• The key
• The charger

If you have specialty parts or service history, that helps too.
