Sizing and Fit

Bike Sizing & Fit Guide
Find your fit. Ride with confidence.

🚲 Why Fit Matters

The right bike size can change everything β€” smoother rides, fewer aches, and way more fun. We know that charts and numbers can feel intimidating, so this guide breaks it down in plain language.

Whether you're 5'1" or 6'5", casual or committed, there's a bike out there that'll feel just right.

πŸ“ Key Geometry Terms (What They Actually Mean)

Standover Height – The distance from the ground to the top of the top tube. Can you straddle the bike with both feet flat? Good.

Reach – How far forward you lean to grab the bars. Shorter reach = more upright, longer = more stretched out.

Stack – How tall the front of the bike feels. Higher stack = more relaxed riding position.

Top Tube Length – A general indicator of the bike’s length from seat to bars.

Seat Tube Length – A rough starting point for seat height, but it varies based on bike style and frame design.

πŸ”§ What Kind of Rider Are You?

Comfort Cruiser: Just want something smooth, upright, and easy? Go for a more relaxed geometry β€” upright seating, low standover, wide tires.

Fitness Rider: Want to sweat a little? You'll want a slightly more aggressive fit β€” longer reach, narrower bars, efficient pedaling.

Adventurer: Touring or commuting with gear? Fit becomes even more important for long-distance comfort and control under load.

Kiddo or Newbie: No shame here β€” we love getting people into riding. Let us help make your first fit dialed and fun.

πŸ“Š Geometry Charts

Every bike on our site includes a geometry chart β€” usually in the product description. These charts are different for each brand and model. Here's how to read them:

You Are... Look For...
Between sizes Choose the smaller if you want upright comfort, or the larger if you want speed and stretch
Unsure what top tube length means Focus on "reach" instead β€” it's more helpful
Looking at bikes with step-through frames Standover is less important β€” saddle height is your key fit point
